Geoff Foster

In 2006, Geoff Foster founded Core Technology Molding Corporation where he is the Chief Executive Office and President. Geoff is also an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Applied Engineering Technology at North Carolina A&T State University, where he has been teaching for 18 years. In 2020, Foster was named the Greensboro Entrepreneur of the Year and the Ernst & Young Southeast Entrepreneur of the Year award winner. In 2022, Core Technology was named the Small Business of the Year by the Greensboro Chamber of Commerce, and Small Business of the Year by NC Business magazine.

Jill Johnson

Jill Johnson is the co-founder and CEO of the Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership (IFEL). Founded in 2002, IFEL is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to eradicate the systemic barriers that prevent people from historically excluded populations from having access to the knowledge, networks, and capital required for entrepreneurial success and wealth creation. With over 30 years of experience as a business strategist, Jill is a pioneering voice for inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystems and is especially focused on creating a new paradigm for the access to capital conversation. Jill has a B.A. in economics from Harvard University.

Andrew Sherman
Panelist
Andrew Sherman is a Partner and Co-Chair of the Venture Capital and Emerging Growth Practice firm wide and is based in the Washington, D.C. office of Brown Rudnick. He is the author of 26 books on business growth, capital formation and the leveraging to intellectual property. Andrew has served as an Adjunct Professor in the Masters of Business Administration (MBA) programs at the University of Maryland and at Georgetown University in both the business school and the law school where he teaches courses on business growth strategy. He has also served as the General Counsel to the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (YEO) since 1987.
